Warrior - The Frontline Soldier

Primary Weapons: Swords, Axes, Spears

Warriors strive for excellence in armed combat, and fighting on the frontlines for their allies. Their natural resilience allows them to stand headfirst against their enemies, and their strength enables them to use the heaviest equipment available to them.

Ranger - The Ranged Scout

Primary Weapons: Bows, Axes, Daggers

Rangers are the recons of the group, able to move swiftly through terrain. In combat, they deliver ranged fire from the backline of their team, but if required can equip Melee weapons to perform swift attacks up close.

Caster - The Spellfighter

Primary Weapons: Catalysts, Scythes, Spears

Casters are naturally talents in magicks, using their abilities to weaken their enemies or empower their allies. Their powers allow them great control over the battlefield to change the course of it to their vision. Depending on their path, A Caster can wield the flow of mana, become acquainted with the elements, or a dabbler in the dark arts...

Rogue - The Silent Blade

Primary Weapons: Daggers, Swords, Scythes

Rogues excel in close quarter combat, boasting high versatility and movement. Their preferred weapons give them the ability to perform swift attacks constantly. In combat, Rogues have the option to stealth in to assassinate their targets, or go all out and slash with speed and precision at their enemies.

Cleric - The Supportive Hand

Primary Weapons: Catalysts, Swords, Bows

Clerics are the primary support of the group, revitalizing or empowering their allies using their holy spells. In some cases, they can fight on the frontlines, using their divine magic to strike down their foes, or their innate protections to aid them in defending against dangerous enemies.

Accessories - The Third Equipment Type

Accessory Types: Trinkets, Gemstones, Rings, Charms

While Weapons grant you damage output and Armor improves your defenses and Attributes, Accessories are a third equipment type that will allow you to enhance your character in a different style.

Accessories give you unique Stats not typically found on other equipment types, such as Mana Regen, Critical Strike Chance, and Threat Generation. These stats can affect your playstyle depending on what you wear. Furthermore, upgrading your Accessories via Refinements will increase these stats to grant you more power.

When exploring the world, be sure to look out for these kinds of items. Accessories can be crucial to your playstyle depending on what you need the most.

Item Enhancements - Customize your Equipment

Enhancement Styles: Reforges, Refinements, Imbuements, Enchantments

You will not only find normal Equipment in the world, but also items and places that can be used to enhance them, such as Refinement Materials or Enchantment Altars. The power that these can give to your equipment can effectively change or enhance how you play, ranging from granting you additional Attributes or special bonuses.

• Reforges allow you to tune your equipment's stats to your desire. They convert a percentage amount of a stat you select on an item into an Attribute stat of your choice, allowing you to specialize further into an Attribute. This is less of an upgrade and more of a tuning to help turn your equipment into what you want it to be.
• Refinements upgrade your equipment's base stats directly. They can improve a Weapon's Damage, an Armor piece's defensive stats, or an Accessory's main stat. Equipment can be refined multiple times at the cost of either Refinement Materials, or using other Equipment.
• Imbuements grant your equipment additional stats by imbuing it with specific materials. Weapons, Armor, and Accessories can be imbued, allowing you to effectively stack imbuements together to become stronger.
• Enchantments are unique empowerments of your equipment. Rather than improving its stats, Enchantments grant you special abilities while you wear the equipment that has them. You can obtain them by finding Enchantment Altars out in the world, and offering specific items to enchant. Equipment can only have 1 Enchantment on them at a time.

Using Equipment - Nonrestrictive System

What you can use: Everything!

As you fill up your Bank, you will find many types of Equipment and Weapons. PROJECT Spellforged has very few restrictions on equipment usage, allowing you to create diverse item builds.

All classes can melee attack with all Weapon Types and equip all types of armor. Utilize Bows as a Warrior to pick off enemies from afar, or save yourself a Dagger as a Caster for your last resort.

There are only 2 kinds of restrictions to wearing equipment: Level Requirement and Equipment Weight.

• All Equipment has a Level Requirement attached to them. Not meeting this requirement will prevent you from using the equipment, and you will not gain any stats from them.
• Equipment Weight is a flexible system where Weapons and Armor have a Weight value attached to them, and each class has a preset Weapon and Armor Weight maximum. These values add on whenever you are using them, and going over the capacity of either your Weapon Weight or Armor Weight will invoke penalties.
